During this half day class you will be guided through making a zipped and piped cushion. Your cushion pad will be provided.
 
The class will be very flexible to allow everyone to work at their own pace. During the class we will cover the basics of:
Machine set up
Creating and attaching piping
Straight seams and turning corners
Inserting cushion zips
 
 
Sessions run from 10.30am to 1pm (morning) or 2pm-4.30pm (afternoon). Our classes are limited to six participants so every one has access to the space and support they need.
 
You will need to bring:
Please bring half a meter of fabric (Upholstery weight fabric or a pretty cotton is perfect, feel free to bring an alternative pattern or colour for your piping), matching zip (30cm) and thread.
 
What's included:
 
Full instructions and expert guidance will be provided throughout the course. Use of Janome sewing machines and all sewing equipment will be provided. (scissors, rulers, tape measures, pens, pencils). piping cord and cushion pad, Tea, coffee and biscuits.
