With great links to the M3, M4, London and the South West, Hartley Wintney boasts many independent shops and services and has been home to Miss Maker since 2013.

Parking: We are lucky enough to have 2hrs free parking on weekdays and all day free parking on weekends around the cricket green, next to the studio. For longer stays, there are also public car parks located off the high street, just a short walk away from the studio. (see map of walk below)

Make a day of it! We have the Courtyard Café and the Cricketers Pub on our doorstep for lunch bookings, the high street also boasts delightful delis, bakers and coffee shops, as well as a range of independent clothing, gift and antique shops.

Accessibility. We are on the ground floor with one small step straight into the workshop. We have a shared WC that is also ground floor, accessed by a small side passage. There are accessible toilets also located in the pub and cafe nearby. Our machines can be used without foot treadles. Carers of class participants are welcome to attend to provide support. Please feel free to discuss any accessibility requirements or questions with us.

Travelling far? There are number of local B&Bs and hotels in the area including the fabulous Elvetham Hotel, perfect for our weekend and week long classes.

From the High Street: (4 minute walk, click here or map on right to download directions) If you have parked in the public car parks, walk through to the highstreet and cross the to the other side. Turn right and walk along the high street past Hartley Antiques untill you reach the Waggon and Horses pub on the corner. Follow the small lane round to the left past the duck pond, you will begin to see the cricket green and pavillion ahead of you, continue round to the left and you will see the Cricketer's Pub, take the small lane on the left (Harding's Lane) and in a short distance you will see Miss Maker's Sewing Studio in front of you.
