Full instructions and expert guidance will be provided on a range of upholstery techniques throughout the course.- Use of upholstery equipment and tools will be provided. - Tea, coffee and biscuits
Please note: materials are not included – we can supply some materials to purchase during the course or advise where to purchase them from.
To save time - arrive with your project pre-stripped*, repaired and ready to go, always take a photo of your item before it has been stripped of its’ previous upholstery so that the tutor can discuss which method to use. *It is not always necessary to completely strip an item, as it may only require a change in top cover (fabric) it really depends on the condition and age, by gaining an understanding of how to assess an item, you can often save by recycling some of the materials. - Please do feel free to contact us for advice and we'll be happy to help.
