Spend the day being introduced to the art of bag making. Construction, lining, straps, zips and hardware are all covered as you make the versatile Noodlehead Back Pack. (The pattern and full instructions for this bag is included in your class fee)
 
Sessions run from 9am to 5.30pm . Our classes are limited to six participants so every one has access to the space and support they need. This class is suitable for all sewing abilities, we are happy to advise on fabric choices to suit your skill level.
 
You will need to bring: 
Please bring 1m of upholstery weight fabric/canvas/lightweight leather, 1m of cotton fabric for lining your bag, 1m medium/heavy weight interfacing, 3.2 meters of cotton webbing for handles and straps, matching zips (55cm and 20cm) straight cut binding, and thread. (There are two size options and styles available in the pattern, so a more detailed supplies list will be provided on booking)
 
What's included:
Full bag pattern and instructions as well as expert guidance will be provided throughout the course. Use of Janome sewing machines and all sewing equipment will be provided. (scissors, rulers, tape measures, pens, pencils). Tea, coffee and biscuits
