Individual one to one tuition
People learn in many different ways, I always prefer to be shown something and practice with advice on hand, than to read instructions and struggle alone. For this reason I offer a one to one tuition service covering all you see in my courses and more.
If you have a specific project or subject you wish to learn then sessions can be tailored just for you, or if you simply want to get started and prefer not be in a group environment I am happy to help. I am able to offer lessons in person as well as via Zoom, Skype, Teams or WhatsApp if you are not in the local area. I am also able to offer support for School, College and University students and Duke of Edinburgh skills criteria.
Home Education 7 - 16 years
If your child (and possibly mum or dad) would like to learn to use a sewing machine I can offer sessions to introduce them to the set up of the machine and creation of simple items.
If your child has an interest in textiles, fashion, fashion design, pattern drafting, creating their own clothes, costumes or soft furnishings, I can offer step by step tuition to make their ideas come to life.
If your child would like to work on a portfolio of projects and designs for presentation to potential employers or further education providers I can also help with this.
Lessons via Zoom, Skype, Teams or WhatsApp are also possible. As I teach most private sessions at my home studio in Church Crookham, siblings are welcome along and sessions are very flexible so mum or dad can either enjoy a cup of tea, spend time with siblings or join in the lessons alongside their child/children.
